PRILOSEC

Drug Uses
Prilosec is employed for the treatment of the various related problems of stomach per acid and oesophagus (for example, GERD, of the ulcers, oesophagite erosive, or syndrome of Zollinger Ellison). If you suffer from the heartburn (and tried to treat it and changed your mode) Prilosec can be appropriate for you. Certain antibiotics (such as the amoxicilline, the clarithromycin) can be prescribed thus that Prevacid by treating certain ulcers.

How Taken
Prilosec comes like capsule or compressed. General proportioning is the tablet 20mg or capsules once it, taken per day (every 24 hours) during 14 days before a meal. Do not take Prilosec during more than 14 days or do not repeat a 14 days course more often than every 4 months. For the best effect swallow the capsule or the tablet, does not crush it, do not break, or do not chew.

Warnings/Precautions
You inform doctor if you take the kidney, the cardiac disease of liver or or other problems of stomach (for example, tumours). Say to him if you are allergic to anything. Do not employ Prilosec if you are likely enclosure or to become pregnant, unless your doctor says to you differently. It is unknown if this drug passes in the mother’s milk, therefore do not take Prilosec if you nurse.

Missed Dose

Possible Side Effects

Storage
Store this drug with the room temperature 15-30C (59-86F). Keep starting from the excessive children and heat, light and moisture (not in the bathroom).

Overdose
If one suspect the overdose, seeks the medical attention immediately. Some of the symptoms of the overdose of Prilosec are confusion, not very common perspiration, scrambled vision, exceptionally fast palpitation, seizures.

More Information
Prilosec is not appropriate to you if you have only the occasional heartburn, have an episode of heartburn per week or less, want the relief immediate of the heartburn. Before taking Prilosec inform your doctor of all the nonprescription and prescription drug which you take.
